A young barefoot girl stands beside a porch in early Texas

Like present day photographers, our Swedish American family photographers took lots of pictures of small children and babies. And just like our present day photographers, they often neglected to record the names of the people in these pictures. This unidentified little barefoot girl can also be found (wearing the same dress) in the photograph attached to the "They Want To Stay Here" post (December 2012).  Therefore we know that this picture was likely taken in or near the Olivia Area, Calhoun County, Texas, circa 1910.
